Duoly in one sentence

Duoly is the couples app: ten minutes each evening, together, to talk, play and reconnect.

Every evening, one question each partner answers on their own. Both answers stay sealed until both have answered, then they are revealed together. Around that ritual: games to rediscover each other (The Game, The Duel, Dare Me!, The Match), moods shared in one tap, a calendar for two and date ideas nearby. One Premium subscription covers both partners.

Couples who last don’t talk longer than others: they talk more often. Duoly sets up that evening date — one question, two answers, a simultaneous reveal — and adds games for two whose intensity you choose together, from Sweet to No taboos. Free to start, with a Premium that covers both partners.

What sets Duoly apart

• A daily ritual. One question every evening, and a streak that grows as long as both answer. Ten minutes is enough.
• The simultaneous reveal. Nobody reads the other’s answer before writing their own: no copying, no influence, real surprises.
• Intensity is decided together. Five levels: Sweet, Intimate, Flirty, Sensual, No taboos. One suggests; the other accepts, suggests softer or bolder, or answers “Not tonight”. Nothing starts without both agreeing.
• Nothing lingers. Dare Me! challenges (photo, voice, video or text) can be viewed twice at most, then they’re deleted. In The Match, only shared “yes” answers are revealed: a “no” stays secret.
• One subscription, two hearts. As soon as one partner is Premium, the other gets it automatically.

• The Game: cards to draw together (a question, a gesture, a dare, a confession), face to face or apart during a call.
• The Duel: one answers, the other guesses; a complicity score and a debrief. Also playable apart.
• Dare Me!: each sends the other a dare, to take up in a photo, a voice note, a video or a few words.
• The Match: shared desires, voted on in secret.
• Journeys for two: a topic couples put off (money, desire, the mental load), seven days, one question a day.
• Every day: moods shared in one tap, a calendar for two, date ideas nearby (concerts, cinema, exhibitions, restaurants), and every week “Our week together”, the couple’s story told from what they actually lived.
• Widgets on iPhone and Android; the Apple Watch app (moods, dictated evening question) arrives with Duoly 1.5.
• Three themes: Night, Lavender and Sky, which follows the time of day.

Free and Premium

The free version includes the evening question and streak, moods and exchanges, a first full Game then 3 cards a day at Sweet and Intimate, one Duel a week, a discovery round of Dare Me!, the first two days of each journey and a preview of nearby outings. Premium lifts the limits: all five intensities, unlimited Dare Me! and duels, full journeys, the weekly recap with full history, and all outings.

The publisher

Duoly is designed and built in France by Novalys, an independent studio. It started from a simple observation: existing couple apps are either to-do lists or gadgets; none installs a habit that lasts. Interviews and demos on request.
